Aim and Scope

The 1st CarboFuture International Conference: Carbohydrate Polymers for Food and Biomaterial Innovations (CarboFuture-2026) aims to bring together researchers and industry professionals to advance the research and innovation on carbohydrate polymers. The conference will focus on the structures, functions, and processing of carbohydrate polymers and their complexes with other compounds, as well as their critical roles in food systems and human health. It will also catch the emerging trend on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven approaches to the discovery and characterization of carbohydrate polymers for smart functions and health solutions. CarboFuture-2026 is planned as a medium-sized international meeting, hosting approximately 250-300 participants from around the world.

The conference program will be composed of main and parallel sessions for presentation of plenary and invited lectures by eminent and outstanding scholars, and oral talks and posters by active and front-line researchers and postgraduate students. It may also include specialized talks and posters by industrial sponsors on R&D of health products and technical services.
